  • BBC America’s version of Gladiators continues with more action. I’ve never watched it, so does anyone know if they use the giant Q-Tips on the UK version as well?

8:00p/7:00 Central

  • It’s the season finale of ABC’s Saturday Night College Football, featuring the 2008 Dr. Pepper Big 12 Championship Game with Oklahoma vs. Missouri. For the ladies, WE counters with Royal Vacation Getaways, so you can plan where to take your man once you can pry the remote out of his hand when football season is over.
  • Meanwhile, NBC’s Crusoe slips into its new time slot just in time for the mutineers ship’s repairs to be completed. That means Crusoe and Friday must free the captain and commandeer the ship themselves to escape. I’m sure that’ll go off without a hitch.
  • FOX is sticking to their guns with Cops, while CMT is wrapping the first season of Hulk Hogan’s Celebrity Championship Wrestling. It looks like it’s down to Butterbean, Dustin Diamond, Dennis Rodman and Todd Bridges.
  • Animal Planet offers up feline trivia in Cats 101. MyNetwork TV is going with closer to a classic with the ’73 remake of Miracle on 34th Street. CBS is in repeats with an episode of The Unit where Jonas and Williams must perform emergency surgery to save Grey.

9:00p/8:00 Central

  • FOX sticks with America’s Most Wanted, while CMT offers up a 90-minute tribute to Alan Jackson in the latest CMT Giants.
  • It’s the battle of the telefilms as Sci Fi looks at the classic Cyclops story, Rhea Perlman appears as a nun who helps a workaholic put together a choir on Hallmark’s The Christmas Choir, and Heather Locklear stars in Lifetime’s adaptation of the bestseller Flirting With 40.
  • It’s your dog’s turn to cut a rug as Animal Planet brings you Dancing with Dogs, which is exactly what it sounds like. I know.
  • On Nickelodeon’s True Jackson, VP, True and Lulu go undercover as boys to research design work for pro skateboarder Ryan Sheckler. Even more dangerous is National Geographic’s Perilous Journeys: Across the Roof of Africa, taking us up the Sani Pass in the Kingdom of Lesotho.
  • It’s repeats for NBC and CBS, as the former brings a Law & Order with a polygamist cult escapee, and the latter has the Cold Case with the 1938 case of the woman who disappeared during Orson Welles’ infamous War of the Worlds radio broadcast.

10:00p/9:00 Central

  • CBS’s 48 Hours Mystery investigates the ’99 murder of Belinda Temple, whose husband David, a high school football coach, was the chief suspect.
  • BBC America has Reese Witherspoon, Paul O’Grady and the Ting Tings on The Graham Norton Show. The Discovery Channel looks at America’s First Nations, examining the foundation of the Iroquois Confederacy and its impact on our democracy. Or for much lighter fare, you can tune into TLC’s Trading Spaces.
  • Those former porn stars keep trying to make it in the real world on a new My Bare Lady over on Fox Reality. But it’s chastity clubs and pregnancy pacts on a repeat of NBC’s Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.

11:00p/10:00 Central

  • National Geographic Channel looks at a possible new grizzly-polar hybrid on Mystery Bear of the Arctic. And while MadTV is reairing the Jeff Probst-hosted episode on FOX, Saturday Night Live is new on NBC at the half hour, with John Malkovich hosting and T.I. as musical guest.
