Everyone knows the holidays wouldn’t be complete without a TV marathon (or ten). This week, USA is showcasing three of its finest original series for your viewing pleasure, with a couple of random choices in-between.
Who doesn’t love little boy cats and hidden pineapples? Psych is kicking off marathon week at USA this morning until 4pm with eleven episodes from season two. With the series returning for the second half of season three on January 9, this is the perfect time to catch up on some episodes you may have missed, or check the show out for the first time if you haven’t seen it.

Tomorrow, from 6am to 4pm you can catch the entire first season of Burn Notice, sans the pilot episode. It’s easy to see why this show has become such a fan favorite, as it seems to have just the right blend of sleek spy drama and quirkiness, and of course the legend himself, Bruce Campbell! Season two is slated to pick up where it left off on Thursday, January 22.
Wednesday all day you can catch Will Ferrell in the movie Elf.
On New Year’s Day, while you nurse your hangovers, why not catch a few episodes of Monk? I mean, its not like you’ll be able to move much farther than the couch, anyway. Everyone’s favorite obsessive-compulsive detective will be solving crimes and avoiding germs for a full 24 hours on USA this Thursday. Between 2 and 10pm you can catch up on the first half of season seven so you’ll be all ready when it comes back for the second half on January 9, right before Psych.
And finally, on Friday starting at 10am you can catch all the reruns of Law and Order: SVU you could ever possibly want to watch in one sitting!
What’s your favorite show to watch as a marathon? Which of the USA shows are you most excited to see come back in January?
Elf all day? USA should be dropped from the channel line up for that nonsense.
I was very happy with the House marathon that was going on last week for Xmas. Mmmmm… Vicodin.
