Casting Clack – Law and Order, Gossip Girl, and 90210

mtrachtenbert_109With its “Casting Clack” post, CliqueClack brings you a summary of the TV casting news released throughout the week, be it the addition of a series regular, a new recurring cast member, a guest star, or even someone making a cameo.

Be warned, the casting news after the jump may contain slight spoilers about the roles the actors will play.

This week, we have casting news for: Heroes, True Blood, Numb3rs, Eleventh Hour, 90210, Brothers & Sisters, Eureka, and many more.

  • It looks like another member from the original 90210 will be coming over to the new er, shinier CW version. If you’re thinking of Matthew Perry you would be wrong. We’re talking about none other than Tori Spelling. Final negotiations are underway that will bring Spelling’s Donna Martin character back into the Beverly Hills fray for a multiple episode run. • Chad’s coming back! Jason Lewis, who played the character during season one of ABC’s Brothers & Sisters, will be returning to the series sometime in April to make a mess of Kevin and Scotty’s relationship. [Source: The Ausiello Files]
  • There’s gonna be a new G-man in town on CBS’ Eleventh Hour later this season. He will be played by Omar Benson Miller (Miracle at St. Anna) and his character will be a FBI trainee by the name of Felix. [Source: The Ausiello Files]
  • Everyone welcome Dr. Tess Fontana to Eureka’s Global Dynamics. She, as well as Jamie Ray Newman, who plays the good doctor, will be showing up during the second half of the show’s third season later this year. [Source: SciFi Wire]
  • Ah, Michelle Trachtenberg. So adorable, yet so evil. At least when she plays Georgina over at Gossip Girl. Well, it looks like she’ll be reprising that role again towards the end of this season. [Source: The Ausiello Files]
  • It’s going to be a Pushing Daisies reunion of sorts over at the Heroes set. Former (I hate how that sounds) PD star Swoozie Kurtz has penned a deal to appear on the NBC series in April as an old friend of Angela Petrelli’s. The episode will be written by Swoozie’s former boss Bryan Fuller. [Source: The Ausiello Files]
  • Law & Order:SVU’s favorite ADA is coming back to do some serious legal ass-kicking. Stephanie March, who played Alexandra Cabot for several seasons, will return during February sweeps for a six-episode arc. [Source: Korbitv]
  • Reaper’s devil-may-care devil, Ray Wise, will be jumping over to the CBS series Numb3rs come February sweeps. He’ll be playing a jury consultant for a defendant that the good guys are trying to convict of murder. [Source: The Ausiello Files]
  • In a further example that television characters never really die, Adele Stackhouse — otherwise known as Sookie and Jason Stackhouse’s “Gram” on HBO’s True Blood — will be returning in the second season. No, she will not be returning as a vampire. Instead, she will be coming back in some flashback scenes. [Source: The Ausiello Files]
  • There’s a new recruit coming over to CBS’ The Unit. It’s Wes Chatham, who is originally from Showtime’s Barbershop: The Series. Chatham will take his bow in March as the most junior member of the  team. [Source: The Ausiello Files]
