Something that pains me in writing these roundups is that I realize I really miss some of my favorite shows already. When will the Fall get here, already? It’s not like I’m enjoying a nice, balmy summer here in New England. (60-degrees in June? What the hell?)
- At 8 PM you can continue catching up or re-watching Gossip Girl with the fourth episode of its second season. FOX also has the episode of House where House’s leg issues were a big focus. Then there’s always the legendary episode of How I Met Your Mother, pictured above, called “The Naked Man” on CBS, followed by a repeat of Rules of Engagement.
- At 9 PM, Lifetime has episode three of the third season of Army Wives, or you can catch the second episode of Lie to Me over on FOX, where apparently they made rape look boring. The CW also has One Tree Hill, or you can see the episode of Two and a Half Men titled “The Devil’s Lube” over on CBS — OK, what’s with that title?
- Following 2.5 Men on CBS, at 9:30, is The Big Bang Theory episode that sounds like it went way into comic book culture.
- Finally, at 10PM there’s CSI: Miami on CBS and another episode from the first season of Desperate Housewives over on Lifetime.
