It’s a short list of releases this week, but it does include some notable sets. Those of more recent vintage include True Blood, Leverage, Royal Pains, and Flashpoint. All solid choices. But the real gems might be found in the classics aisle. The Cold War Spy Collection includes two minis that feature Rod Steiger, Anthony Perkins, and Joanna Lumley, among others. Not to be outdone, the TV Western Classics release features the likes of Henry Fonda, Clu Gulager, Denver Pyle, Alan Hale Jr., James Coburn, and Elizabeth Montgomery. That’s good stuff, and the pair of them are my co-picks of the week. Although, if you choose to go with Sookie’s boobs on Blu-ray, I really can’t argue with that decision.
