TV on DVD – Cougar Town, Dexter, and Friday Night Lights

As we move closer to fall premieres, more current shows are dropping. This week includes 'Cougar Town', 'Dexter', 'Friday Night Lights', 'Ugly Betty', 'One Tree Hill', 'Dark Oracle', and 'The Kardashians'.

It’s an interesting list this week, with several solid choices for your DVD buying dollar. From cable, and with John Lithgow supporting, Dexter has another great season in the books. Back on the networks, those that didn’t give up on Friday Night Lights after the ridiculous body dump storyline (like I did) swear that the fourth season is another winner. You’ll also find the final season of Ugly Betty, and my pick of the week, Cougar Town. It’s a show that had a bit of a rocky start, but if you hung in, it really found its groove by the end of the season. And if you didn’t, now is a great time to catch up.
