Things have definitely taken a turn to the extremely interesting this week. The final scene will have implications that should rock Dexter’s world for who knows how long, and it’s not the only thing going on right now that will likely be making his life a deeper form of hell.
Let’s first talk about something I brought up last week, namely Quinn eying Dexter as possibly being Kyle Butler. There’s a small chance Quinn isn’t even talking about Dexter when he spoke with the Feds, but I doubt it. What I’m not really sure about is why he’s suspecting Dexter, other than the composites resembling him. It likely he’s just trying to figure out why Rita would be targeted by Trinity, and having Dexter on his mind while the Mitchells are being talked to would lead to that.
Last week I also stupidly didn’t think that a simple photo of Dexter could be shown to the Mitchells to put an ID on him, so everything I suggested is out. Except … he might still get to the Mitchells to talk them out of IDing him. That’s unlikely at this point, so I’m very interested in what’s going to happen there. What would Dexter’s story be? That he had a lead on Mitchell and was working alone? No way!
Lastly, the eye witness to Dexter’s latest kill. I can’t even begin to guess where that’s going to go. Alright, there’s a slight chance he’ll go against the code and just simply kill her. I wouldn’t buy that will happen, except that there’s already so much happening to put Dexter in danger at this point, that to put yet another thing in there is going to give us ulcers from stress!

Jumber cables seemed to be kind of a trinity thing(kind of a ritual as all of them were obv dead already).
The moment boyd said “u have no idea what you are getting into” i immediately kind of felt a connection between the serialkiller and the other storyline(santa muerte).
As to quinn: right now the only way i see this working out is a deal between him and dexter after he found out about the truth, which shouldnt be that hard if he is able to show a photo of dexter to the family and NONE of them lies to him
Was that Jonny Lee Miller on the cover of that self-help CD (quickly shown in the car)?
I wonder will this be the last season?
