Justin Bieber episode to be featured on Glee! And then everyone comes to their senses.

The rumor that took on a life of its own … then dashed the hopes of Gleeksters coast to coast.

I’m all for obsession. I, myself, have been known to get caught in its clutches. And while I’m not on board the Glee Express Train to AnnoyingVille, USA, I do know of what I speak.

You see, as the father of young girls – one of which excitedly exudes at the mere whisper of anything “Justin Biebery” (not to mention a dyed-in-the-wool “Gleekster”) – I can tell you there would be no possible way anyone would be able to come near the television set if the young lad’s music was featured on an episode of Glee.

Luckily, and with silent appreciation from just about everyone’s ears out there in TV Land, it appears it will not be happening quite as originally suggested.

Good thing I didn’t break the news to my daughter initially. I don’t think she would have ever forgiven me.

I consider myself fortunate.

Ugh…

What a waste of a show, it could have really been something. Instead they pick hot topic names and themes and just shove them into the show, even if they don’t fit.

. . . . .

I don’t know, Oreo.

That new-fangled Glee show is rockin’ & reelin’ in Auckland, New Zealand … and it doesn’t appear to be slowing down anytime soon …

It’s popular, but creatively it’s dead. They care more about what songs they can sing that what the storyline is. It’s really sad.

Oreo:

That’s very well what it is to you.

But to the fan of the show – to many, many fans of the show – it’s of little import. And it’s far, far from dead to them as well.

There’s still plenty going on with that show, nothing dead at all. Ask the fans. They’re champing at the bit to see what comes next.

Really? Name some plots? Who dates who and lame reasons they break up? Snoore. Kurt being bullied? Oh No! Snoore.

It’s fine to have in the background while waiting for Raising Hope to come on.

Everyone I know who is a fan of the show either hates Justin Bieber or has no clue who she is.
