I’m sleeping … peacefully … and I have a dream …
In it, the judges on American Idol exercise a worthless, imbecilic, pointless, wasted effort wherein three contestants – who don’t deserve to be in the competition – are saved by the skin of their teeth and are included, once again, in the competition.
In my dream, one by one on each successive Idol airing, these three “saved” contestants are picked off. Each week, they garner the least amount of votes after “living down” to their potentials by approximating something they call “singing”, proving why they weren’t advanced to the main competition in the first place.
And in my dream, on the first elimination night of the competition, one of the three does just that: she is ousted, once and for all.
And then … I awaken abruptly from my dream …
… and realize it wasn’t a dream after all.
So long, Ashthon …
She was gorgeous and I know the judges loved her. However, she could not sing.
She sucked. Moving onward!
I didn’t get to view the show since I was working. I heard your favorite Idol contestant performed. Kudos for not mentioning it.

. . . . .
Did I fall asleep, Marissa?
Taylor Hicks was on the show last night … ?!??
They should have had America vote for the top 12, and then the judges decide if they wanted to add one, not three. Sometimes America gets it wrong, I haven’t seen any of AI this season besides the last 5 minutes last night waiting for Bones, and she was horrible!
Well, she did have sumthin’ in common with Diana Ross…neither one can sing.
BWAHAHAHAAAA! They ditched the diva… give that girl a snickers.
Thank God! I was so worried she was going to somehow make it. Now I do think the Stefano save was worth it. But that’s about it. Love your dream! I don’t really care for Adam and was ready to fast forward cuz I hate the screechy stuff but he was pretty calm last night and had a good song. Still prefer Kris Allen though.
LOL @ Mikki….I’ll second that and raise you the “hair”!! :D
