The CliqueClack Wonder Woman trilogy, part 3 of the series

It wasn't the costume. It wasn't the script. It wasn't the network. It wasn't David E. Kelley. It wasn't even that it wasn't the right time for a new Wonder Woman series. It was us.

Everyone is familiar with the Rule Of Three, right? Good. That will make this all the easier. Maybe all the funnier, too.

Let’s see: first, there was the post I did asking how Wonder Woman could go so wrong.

Then, there was the open forum where the gang at CliqueClack went gaga and otherwise over her costume. (Trust me when I say we’re still suffering the repercussions of that debate. It’s like it’s got a life of its own …)

So to come full circle (in a manner of speaking), I’m hereby concluding this little trilogy with the demise of David E. Kelley’s Wonder Woman series, courtesy of our very own Mr. West:

“Wonder Woman has officially set a record
for the show most talked about on the email list
that will never see the light of day.”

Remember what I said about CliqueClack’s writers and their inexplicable, awesome powers? Others may claim ownership as to the downfall of this “series that never came to be”, but — lounging ’round at our opulent seaside headquarters with Mai Tais in hand and flip flops on our soles — we know who the real instigators are who put the kibosh on Wonder Woman.

Okay guys … let’s get back to work. There’s more where this came from.

We decide the fate of all television in our Fortress of Blogitude. We drink the blood of series like fine wine.

Change the site from CliqueClack to SnickSnackSnark. That will embody the rule of 3 as well.
