Are the Warehouse 13 agents artifacts themselves? – SDCC Interview

After a CliqueClack commenter ignited this idea, I was intent on bringing the question up while at Comic-Con last week. See what producer Jack Kenny has to say about it, and more.

Here are some highlights from the video below:

  • There’s an earth-shattering event happening at the end of the current season that Kenny says is “the smallest corner we’ve painted ourselves into,” and he knows how he’s getting out of it. He has the next season premiere already planned out, but nothing beyond that.
  • I ask a question about whether the people recruited for the Warehouse are artifacts themselves, after a commenter here said something that sparked that idea off in my head. View the video for his answer to that one.
  • We will learn this season why people are chosen as Regents.
  • Kate Mulgrew comes in as a Regent starting in episode 8.
  • Mark Sheppard‘s character is really dead, but Kenny says he’ll be back in some form someday (“absolutely”).
  • The configuration of who goes out in the field with whom will change up all the time.
  • We will see a portion of Warehouse 12 this season.
  • There will be a Die Hard-themed episode this season.
  • There will be an artefact from the Berlin wall this season.

I don’t think there’s one tidbit of information in this interview to which I’m not looking forward. Thanks for the the informed questions.

I love that the Regents are just ordinary citizens, not famous or powerful, and hope that Mulgrew’s character continues that trend, with or without eyepatch.
