A small list this week, with some big entries. Most notably among those, True Blood. That’s not necessarily a statement on the quality of the show. More a reference to the fact that the DVD sets always sell exceptionally well. The latest release from Bon Temps is joined by sets from Rookie Blue, Royal Pains, and Drop Dead Diva in the current category.
If you are in the market for something a little more classic, have a look at the Wing Commander Academy complete series set. Or, our pick of the week, the first season of Maverick. Long before James Garner became Rockford, he was Bret Maverick. It was an atypical take on the Western of the times and it remains a great show today. Also, someone may or may not have been named after that character.
