Breaking Big Brother news – A coup is taking place on the live feeds [updated]

Big doings in the 'Big Brother' house as the live feeds reveal a coup taking place with Willie leading the charge to cut the coaches out of the game.

Willie Hantz

At about 11:00 AM BBT (Big Brother time) today, a revolution may be under-way in the Big Brother house. Last night, Britney, Janelle and Willie were speculating on the possibility that the coaches would actually be entering the game in Week 4. Britney even asked producers to see her contract before the live feeds were cut (the contract states the usual “producers can change the game any time they want” BS).

This chat has led Willie to call a house meeting in the HOH room — minus the coaches — to voice his concerns that the coaches may return to the game, and that no one else is playing the game for themselves, just doing their coach’s bidding. Willie is leading a revolution amongst the newbies, telling them to start playing their own games, making their own alliances and to stop letting their coaches make decisions for them. Most of the HGs agree that it’s time to just drop the coaches, ignore them, not let them make all the decisions for the team (Joe seems a little wishy-washy).

Unfortunately, it’s unlikely we’ll see any of this unfold on Wednesday’s show, and it will be interesting to see how this affects the live show Thursday and the eviction. CBS has just cut the live feeds, but it was really an exciting turn of events (did someone at CBS read my post asking why no one from other teams have made alliances with each other?), and it will be interesting to see how this affects the game. With this “coup,” has Willie inadvertently brought the coaches into the game sooner than planned (if they were supposed to enter in the first place), or will we see the coaches now band together against their team members. Season 14 has gotten off to a good start, but this really could be a game changer — unless the producers somehow intervene and put everyone back in line.

So what do you think? Should the coaches be allowed to come into the game and vie for the $500,000 prize?

**UPDATE: Joe just spilled the beans to Janelle about the fears that the coaches will return to the game. Janelle said they were told there was no chance of that happening … and then the feeds were cut again. When the feeds come back, Janelle promised Joe that she would never work with Boogie or Dan.

**UPDATE: Britney is telling Willie that she agrees 100% that the coaches should not be running the game and making decisions for the players, and that she’ll still offer advice but she just wants everyone to play their own game and she’s taking herself out of the equation because Janelle is now making deals with Dan to keep Kara safe so they’ll keep Janelle’s team safe.

***UPDATE: It hit the fan between Frank and Willie later in the day. Apparently Frank discovered that he was the target after his initial alliance with Willie, and the two had a very heated discussion in the yard about Willie bullying people into voting one way, and Willie telling Frank that he wasn’t going home, but now he probably will be and that Willie will be next thanks to Frank running his mouth. Boogie had to get into it, and Willie humorously told him to stay out of it because he didn’t need to get involved for more TV time. It ended with Frank telling everyone to vote for him if they wanted, or to vote for Kara, he didn’t care … and Ian put the lid on it all by announcing he was making pizza.

I appreciate these updates. It sort of ruins watching the episodes, but I guess I’d rather know what’s really going on rather than whatever spin the editors decide to give it.

I’ll only post these if there’s some major drama in the house that I happen to see on the live feeds. There wasn’t anything really spoilery here though. I’ll keep those hidden as spoilers for those who wish to view them. I just thought it was an interesting insight into the game that might have gotten very little attention on the show. But they did promise that we would see some of it on Thursday’s show, but how much depends on the eviction voting (and if any drama happens there, as I’ve heard might) and how long the HOH competition goes for. I don’t think there’s anything here to ruin an episode, but if there is, I apologize for not marking it as a spoiler right from the start.

Oh, I wasn’t trying to complain about spoilers. Just commenting about my uncertainty as to whether I ought to read them.

No worries. I’ll always keep the real game changing spoilers hidden and marked accordingly. I’m very interested to see what happens tonight!
