Bio: My time away from the TV is spent in an IT cave doing things that might seem interesting on the surface, but would likely bore you in detail. Along with those lofty pursuits, I'm a huge fan of Mr. Neal Stephenson, have a strange love for Canadian things, and am currently hammering out the tenets for a boob-based-religion. If you need to find me, try looking in one of Seattle's many theatres. This one is my current favorite.

Ratings Clack – Iffy results for the first full week of sweeps

Overall, the first full week of sweeps was a bit slow. The big surprise came as NBC’s ‘The Voice’ managed to improve on what was an outstanding debut the week before. Over on cable, can you imagine ‘L&O CI’ on USA beating new ‘L&O LA’ on NBC?

TV on DVD – Being Human, Drop Dead Diva, and Penn & Teller

This week’s releases include ‘Being Human’, ‘Make It Or Break It’, ‘Drop Dead Diva’, ‘Penn & Teller’, ‘Party Animals’, ‘Melrose Place’, ‘The PJs’, ‘Identity’, ‘Murdoch Mysteries’, ‘Ben 10′, ‘Boy Meets World’, ‘Super Hero Squad’, and ‘According To Jim’.

The Killing and the Kingdome – Best detail ever!

If you were watching closely this week, you may have seen a surprise cameo from one of the greatest buildings that ever was on ‘The Killing’. But did you catch the setup for it in the earlier episode? It’s fascinating.

Ratings Clack – The Voice has a great debut

NBC had the big news for the week, with the premiere of ‘The Voice’. Over on cable, week two of ‘Game of Thrones’ was right on pace with the premiere, while ‘Sanctuary’ gave ‘SGU’ fans a little more ammo.

Tv on DVD – South Park, Larry Sanders, and Upstairs Downstairs

This week’s new offerings include ‘Upstairs Downstairs’, ‘Demob’, ‘South Park’, ‘Testees’, ‘Date With The Angels’, ‘Larry Sanders’, ‘Lucy’, ‘Growing Pains’, ‘Doc Martin’, ‘The Avengers’, ‘Human Planet’, ‘The Universe’, and Mike Wallace.

Ratings Clack – Paul Reiser can’t even survive on NBC

The final tally is in, and ‘The Paul Reiser Show’ came up just 162 episodes short of the mark he set with ‘Mad About You’. Over on cable, HBO kicked off ‘Game of Thrones’ to a less than spectacular number, but does that even matter?

Supernatural – Future giants, magic bricks, and a phoenix

The team at ‘Supernatural’ HQ have dropped off another bizarro-world adventure that finds the boys heading back to 1861 in search of the means to battle Eve. Their journey brings them face to face with the hunter of hunters.
