Bio: My time away from the TV is spent in an IT cave doing things that might seem interesting on the surface, but would likely bore you in detail. Along with those lofty pursuits, I'm a huge fan of Mr. Neal Stephenson, have a strange love for Canadian things, and am currently hammering out the tenets for a boob-based-religion. If you need to find me, try looking in one of Seattle's many theatres. This one is my current favorite.

TV on DVD – Glee, American Dad, and Fresh Prince

A quick list this week includes ‘Glee’, ‘American Dad!’, ‘Mind To Kill’, ‘Lone Ranger’, ‘Fresh Prince’, ‘Captain Planet’, Ernie Kovacs, and ‘Shaun The Sheep’.

Ratings Clack – Bad news for the CBS Monday, and Paul Reiser

The decided lack of new ‘Two and a Half Men’ episodes is starting to really show in the ratings for the other Monday comedies at CBS. Over on cable, ‘Deadliest Catch’ is back, and much bigger than Norm.

Supernatural – Atropos and the Day Runner of death

Something very strange is going on in the world of ‘Supernatural’ this week. The boys head off to investigate some mysterious deaths in PA, and they get some help from two very unexpected guests. The answers they find shed some light on how things are going with Castiel’s war.

TV on DVD – Doctor Who, H.R. Pufnstuf, and Dallas

A week headlined by the classics includes ‘H.R. Pufnstuf’, ‘Doctor Who’, ‘The Sweeney’, ‘Dallas’, ‘Dragnet’, ‘Car 54′, ‘Last of the Summer Wine’, ‘BBC Tudors’, ‘Redwall’, ‘Garfield’, ‘Man vs Wild’, ‘Rachel Zoe’, ‘Kathy Griffin’, ‘Snapped’, and ‘Flipping Out’.

Ratings Clack – Basketball is still big and people hate Chaos

The NCAA scored for CBS, and then the CIA bombed for them. Over on cable, AMC released ‘The Killing’ to a modest premiere audience, but I’m more interested in what the numbers for the ‘Game of Thrones’ preview might mean.

TV on DVD – Friday Night Lights, iCarly, and Sarah Palin

This week’s list of releases includes ‘Friday Night Lights’, ‘Life Unexpected’, ‘iCarly’, ‘Sarah Palin’, ‘Lark Rise To Candleford’, ‘Batman Beyond’, ‘Minder’, ‘Bert the Conqueror’, ‘House of Payne’, and ‘Sister Wives’.

Ratings Clack – Music and dance boost Grey’s and Castle

Dancing with quasi-stars is still wildly popular, and able to boost cop shows that follow it, as ‘Castle’ and ‘Body of Proof’ will attest. There was music in the air for ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ as well, with the show seeing its best numbers since the season premiere.
