Bio: My time away from the TV is spent in an IT cave doing things that might seem interesting on the surface, but would likely bore you in detail. Along with those lofty pursuits, I'm a huge fan of Mr. Neal Stephenson, have a strange love for Canadian things, and am currently hammering out the tenets for a boob-based-religion. If you need to find me, try looking in one of Seattle's many theatres. This one is my current favorite.

Castle – There are no cows in space

Halloween really lends itself well to the Castle style, and the writers really pulled out all the stops when given the chance to run with it. The big surprise of Nathan Fillion in his Mal costume from Firefly was given away long ago, but it was still great to see. As a bonus, it wasn’t […]

Ratings Clack – Smallville continues to defy the odds

We do often get caught up in the big numbers from the big networks. It is, after all, hard to overlook the fact that NCIS is still growing its audience in the 7th season. There are still some very interesting stories happening on the little network, CW. When it was announced that Vampire Diaries would […]

Stargate Universe – Out of gas

The stakes were certainly high enough, with the Destiny hurtling toward a star, but the execution of the first three quarters of the story was far less compelling than it could […]

Dollhouse – Evil to the core

Wouldn’t you know it … as we head into a Dollhouse-free month, the show goes out with the best episode of the season. It was so good, I was left wondering why the season didn’t start out on this note. Priya’s story not only gave us the history of Sierra, but also offered a very […]

Medium’s Allison is made of crazy

The new twist on Allison’s abilities is at once fascinating, and frightening.

Webisode Clack – Guess Again

I continue to be amazed at the sheer number of shows that are out there on the Internet, just waiting to be watched. And, happily, by the fact that a lot of them are really good. This week, we return to the comedy realm to check in on the guys from Guess Again. The show, […]

TV on DVD for October 20th

The only current shows releasing sets this week are Numb3rs and Top Chef, but that doesn’t mean there’s nothing to see down at your local DVD Hut. Topping the list for me, Dan Freaking Tanna. Yes, finally, we can all watch Vega$ any time we want. If classic P.I. isn’t your style, there are also […]
