Bio: My time away from the TV is spent in an IT cave doing things that might seem interesting on the surface, but would likely bore you in detail. Along with those lofty pursuits, I'm a huge fan of Mr. Neal Stephenson, have a strange love for Canadian things, and am currently hammering out the tenets for a boob-based-religion. If you need to find me, try looking in one of Seattle's many theatres. This one is my current favorite.

Ratings Clack – Chuck and Heroes kick off finale season

And just like that, finale season is upon us. Over the next few weeks, all of our favorite shows will be pulling out all the stops and heading off into the summer break, with hopes of returning for another go in the fall. Some of them, no doubt, will be disappointed in that regard. Aside […]

Dollhouse – Who is Alpha?

With just two episodes to go (or three, depending on your geography and Internet connection) it was time for the big reveal. Who is Alpha? It’s a role that was spoiled in a huge way weeks ago. I’m really not sure how those that did avoid hearing the rumors managed it, short of unplugging their […]

Reaper – What is your bloodlust level?

I was torn between that title, and “Look at Nina in the bra and panties!” I decided to take the high road. CliqueClack is a civilized place and all that. But still, how ’bout that Nina? Right? That’s getting us off track, though. While Jenny Wade in her underthings was the flashy highlight that they […]

Heroes – What a long strange trip it’s been

The lyrics of the Dead seem to be the best way describe season three, because … man … that was one circuitous route we just took to get to that finale. After a host of side trips, it all ultimately came down to a showdown with Sylar. Last week, I made the comment that the […]

Ratings Clack – Crazy schedules and a Thursday where everyone loses

Last week was a bit of an odd one for programming as the networks went a bit experimental. Over at FOX, Bones tried its third night in a week. On ABC, The Unusuals took over for Cupid and someone gave the OK for another Lost clip show.  CBS continued the shuffling of their procedurals by […]

Dollhouse – You realize, that’s the beginning of the end

Just when you thought that the Dollhouse couldn’t be more sinister, along comes “Haunted.” We’ve seen a host of horrible things that the company is capable of, but now the idea of selling replacement bodies has been floated. And it’s all kinds of creepy. It’s not technically what the story, a one-off murder mystery, was […]

Supernatural jumps the shark

Well, not really, but the writers were having some fun with one of the tenets of the phenomenon. Occasionally referred to as “Cousin Oliver Syndrome,” the sudden inclusion of new family, especially children, is an oldie, but goodie, in the shark jumping world. And more often than not, it brings with it disastrous results. Thankfully, […]
