There’s not a whole lot I have to say about the penultimate episode of True Blood. Sure, going into finales, often times you can get a filler episode or two, but I don’t necessarily think that’s the problem here. All season long, there has been a divide between the story in Bon Temps and the […]
Was it just me, or did this week seem a little off? Despite being funny, Psych put me to sleep (literally, not figuratively) with its not-so-interesting plot. Leverage was hilarious, but didn’t offer nearly as many good one-liners as it normally does. And depressingly, Bob’s Veronica Mars Virgin Diary is quickly coming to a close […]
(Season Two, Episodes Ten – Thirteen) The second season of House is still going strong. The Stacy storyline has come to an end (at least for now; I doubt we’ve seen the last of her), but while she may not be walking the halls of our favorite New Jersey teaching hospital, I think we’ll see her […]
ABC’s new sci-fi drama Flash Forward has become one of the more eagerly anticipated new shows on the fall schedule (I would argue that it wouldn’t take much to be eagerly anticipated on THIS fall schedule, but that’s a rant for another post). I’ve been following the show for some time, including reviewing the pilot […]
So finally the storyline that I’ve hated comes together with the characters that have been having a good time out in Dallas. Can the travelers save Bon Temps (and by “save Bon Temps” I mean save the story, and not necessarily the town)? Sookie finally meeting MaryAnn was a good start, finally putting together the […]
Everyone, anywhere has a backstory, a history of their lives, or a collection of events that has brought them to any particular moment. Most shows build certain portions of this history into the narrative, some use flashbacks to tell them. Defying Gravity really isn’t using flashbacks as much as it’s just telling two stories, five […]
Project Runway: All-Star Challenge [You’ll have to work with me on this one, but it’s easily the quote of the week] “When I see boobs going all over the place I get dizzy.” — Heidi [not liking that one of the models, who was wearing a really tight t-shirt, wasn’t wearing a bra] “Me too!” […]
