Finally. I finally picked the right pony. I’m back! Back, I say! My girl Whitney is the first American Masterchef! Thank goodness it wasn’t Lee or (gulp) David. Here are a few thoughts on the finale.
The season two premiere was jam-packed with big-hearted family dysfunction from tense mother-daughter driving lessons, having awkward ‘Talks’ with a 6-year-old and gettin’ busy via Skype.
Outside of the ending, I found myself disappointed. Despite my love of chick flicks, Nancy Drew, and procedure-oriented dramedy, this didn’t hit the spot.
Last night’s two-part season finale didn’t disappoint. Deep cover operations, romance, reveals and Auggie’s awesomeness dominated ‘Covert Affairs.’
Well well well…. It looks like we now know — quite definitively — that H. G. Wells had a nefarious plan in mind all along.
I can no longer stand behind ‘The Glade’s as a procedural. It’s a full blown drama. As the commercial says, the forecast is sunny with a “chance” of homicide. I do believe they’re right. Are you on board?
At long last, we find out who’s going to be the new Chief of Police — if a crazy dude with nerve gas doesn’t kill everyone first, that is.
