Vampire Diaries – The many faces of Klaus

Although this wasn’t the most action-packed episode of ‘The Vampire Diaries’ in series history, I loved it just the same for the slow burn of the character interactions and awesome reveals. This is one well-written show.

Community – It’s so hard to say goodbye to yesterday

This week’s ‘Community’ is filled with flashbacks of adventures we’ve never seen. The show sure seemed crazy before, but we’ve never had any episodes with mercury poisoning.

Sanctuary rocks its mid-season return

‘Sanctuary’ finally solves the mystery of Hollow Earth while featuring great writing, excellent acting, and an awesome storyline.

The Middle – Is Sue even fun to laugh at anymore?

I didn’t quite see the connection to the main story, but I loved the beginning of the episode with Brick getting sick: fever mellows out his quirks … the more normal he acts, the sicker he is. That was hilarious!

Happy Endings – What’s in a name?

Two new episodes of ‘Happy Endings’ aired last night, one of which dealt with whether a name means anything — whether it’s one we’re given, or one we’ve adopted for ourselves.

American Idol – Extra stiff and dorky

In this episode, Casey puckers up, Steven drops an F-bomb, Stefano doffs the cheese and the judges finally figure it out. A rather enjoyable Wednesday night offering.

Justified – See, dramas can be funny, too

Just because a show is a drama doesn’t mean it can’t also be funny. There’s a humorous streak in ‘Justified’ that leaves me laughing more than most sitcoms.
