“I’m a little behind on the times, but I believe the term you are searching for is OMG.” – Elijah to a tongue-tied Elena when he tells her that Klaus is his brother
It’s tough dealing with insane people. We’ve probably all encountered one or two in our lifetimes, certainly with varying degrees of insanity. Now, imagine having to navigate life with the obstacle of a completely insane werevamp who wants to sire his own race and take over the world standing in your way. Not easy. Certainly gives one perspective on the neighbor who’s anal about his lawn or your sister-in-law’s inability to find herself.
That said, Klaus is gorgeous. I really had to feel for Elijah in the flashbacks, because his hair was so dorky and unkempt and he just wasn’t owning that look. Cut to Klaus, long, flowing mane shining just enough to highlight his rippling muscles and sexy smirk. If I were Katherine, I probably would have fallen for the gorgeous insane man who secretly wanted to woo me then kill me as well.
Though there is something so honorable about Elijah that I may be just as foolish as Elena for falling for his every word. I really do trust him … even though I’m completely annoyed that it hasn’t yet been revealed how he can save the doppelganger’s life.
What is it with Elena and the vampire brothers? How many pairs of vampire brothers do you figure are out there in the world, and Elena is mixed up with two pairs at age 18. Klaus and Elijah are outshining the famous Salvatore brothers for me right now. I’m intrigued, fascinated and spellbound, whereas I’m just getting a teensy bit bored with the same old Salvatore drama. Granted, it’s probably not easy loving the same woman, but figure it out and move on. Stefan, get over yourself and Damon, stop being such a dick.
I suppose I need to revise my prediction from last week. A werewolf bite probably won’t kill Klaus since he’s part werewolf, but I still somehow think that Tyler is going to play an important role in how this whole thing shakes down.
This and that:
Though Bonnie wasn’t saved last week by having vampire blood in her when she died, I still think that will be at play this season. Either with Bonnie when she tries to bring down Klaus again OR that is how Elena will be saved.
Could Greta be compelled?
Though, it could be fun to see what happens if Klaus becomes a Werepire? Vampwolf?

I was assuming, maybe incorrectly, that Greta couldn’t be compelled. Such a powerful witch should be able to figure something out in regards to that, right? And she was super-chummy with Klaus, definitely beyond compulsion I thought. Time will tell!
One thing I like about this show are the plot twists not feeling contrived or hap hazard. When Elijah revealed that the sun and moon curse was something that Klaus had thought up, I didn’t feel like the rug was pulled out from under me or that the writers had written themselves in a corner and needed an out. It felt like something that was planned all along and the writers were just waiting for that right moment to tell us.
I completely agree that I find myself trusting Elijah. I know I shouldn’t but Daniel Gillies plays him so well that I can’t help feeling bad for him that Elena betrayed him twice!
I can’t wait for the last few episodes and I can’t even venture to guess what will happen (I’m normally completely off anyways!). Thanks for the posts! They are always fun to read on a Friday morning!
How can Klaus be half vampire and half werewolf? vampires can get pregnant? their dead right?
