It looks like things are getting serious on HBO’s ‘Boardwalk Empire.’ Jimmy and Nucky reunited (even if by accident) in Chicago, as the threats against Nucky’s power in Atlantic City took a more serious turn.

The theme of this episode was clearly all about partners: Dexter/Lumen; Deb/Quinn; LaQuerta/Batista; Quinn/Liddy; Cole/Jordan. Maybe there’s too much partnering up going on?

The big story in ratings last week came from the huge numbers AMC enjoyed for the premiere of ‘The Walking Dead’. Over on the broadcast networks, the return of Penny to ‘Big Bang Theory’ had that show riding high as well.

Susan gets a job, Bree gets menopause, Renee and Lynette start a business, Gaby thinks Carlos is going gay, and Beth finally learns Paul’s secret … but she has a shocking secret of her own!

The teams remain in Russia for another exciting leg of the race, but misread clues cause one team to back track while other incur severe penalties. And why didn’t Nick and Vicki have to face a SPeed Bump?

Those not new to the ‘Walking Dead’ series will have clearly noted that the TV series has now made quite a few changes from the books. So far I believe this is a good thing.

The 21st Halloween episode of ‘The Simpsons’ reminded me why I don’t watch many of the new episodes. That being said, the Boy who Lived mocking ‘Twilight’ definitely helped.
