Many fans of ‘Psych’ are already familiar with the many ’80s pop culture references on the show, including a few references to the movie ‘Real Genius’ starring Val Kilmer. But it goes a little beyond that.

Although the short series has been dead since sometime last year, the Webby-winning series ‘The Website is Down’ — with “Web Dude” and his questionable sysadmin skills — is a quick and funny ride worth watching for the techie-minded.

Picking up right where things left off in the season five finale, Nancy decides to grab her family and go once more after Shane kills Pilar with a croquet mallet. How will they explain Doug coming along this time?

Showtime’s newest quirky comedy debuted tonight. I’m curious if ‘The Big C’ is going to be able to overcome some of the obvious plot lines and let the superior cast shine.
