The unanticipated test pilot for Pamela’s new show aired last night. I will say one thing for it … smart move to conserve costs on a bad idea by producing it within an ongoing series.
Last night had its ups and downs, but ‘Entourage’ definitely did better in this outing. Still, there’s a ways to go before it returns to the top of the mountain.
Another slow week on the networks as the summer season starts to wind down. The big excitement is the return of the NFL, which always brings the numbers. Over on cable, the crime fighting girls continue their impressive debut seasons.
Russell, the Authority, Nan Flanagan, and politics that are the vampire world of ‘True Blood’ are a far greater story than most all of what we saw last year.

Things went from worse to even more worse this week on ‘The Pillars of the Earth’. I think this might be rock bottom for the characters though. At least I hope it is.
