I checked out the series premiere of CBS’s new half-hour comedy ‘Mad Love’ the other night. Two things are for certain: CBS loves the ‘How I Met Your Mother’ format, and Stella is most certainly not the mother … or is she?

Margene blew everyone away with a Christmas surprise while Bill wanted to arm all his wives with guns and Lois went looking for Santa at a fast food restaurant order window. Just your average ‘Big Love’ episode.

It was a bit of a slow week with President Obama again bringing mayhem to your regularly scheduled programming. The highlight in all of it was the NFL once again flexing its considerable ratings muscles. Over on cable, week two was not kind to MTV’s ‘Skins’.

Way back in September I watched the ‘Hellcats’ preview pilot and found myself unimpressed with the show’s acting. However, after watching since the hiatus I found myself seeing it in totally different eyes. How about you?
