As Aceveda’s investigation continues, things are getting more and more precarious for the Strike Team. But, when Gilroy throws Vic a rope, will the cost be worth it?
While not nearly as Blow the Hatch-worthy as the first episode, The Shield’s story about child pornography was disturbing in its own right. And by disturbing, I mean enough to make me want to vomit.
The creepy dude, with his “delicious feet” comment, I’m hoping we’ve not seen the last of him. I’m not even sure creepy covers it. Guy was just plain scary.
One would think that cleaning up the streets would be enough motivation, but hey, I guess if you want to be mayor one day, the ends justify the means as much as they do for Vic.
I’m mainly pointing at, of course, kidnapping an NBA player for a day. Sure, it made for a lot of fun, what with the autographs and the groupies, but it just doesn’t ring true.
Vic Mackey is certainly not your father’s anti-hero (Though, I wouldn’t consider Han Solo an anti-hero, but it was a different time I guess).
I damn near needed to pick my jaw up off of the coffee table during the last scene of the premiere. In that moment, I knew I was hooked on ‘The Shield.’
