A Visit from Kevin Reilly (The Night Before Upfronts), part five

I know, you are all starting to wonder how this tale will end, aren’t you? You don’t have much longer to wait; it’s almost Christmas and we’ve been enjoying these relaxing little read-alouds, haven’t we? Nothing like celebrating the stress of the industry folks to make our holiday stress seem insignificant ….

In case you missed the first installments of our poem:

  • Part one has that rascally Peter Krause showing up with a list of canceled FOX shows, the night before the Upfronts.
  • Part two tells of Terminator and Fringe cast members getting nervous.
  • Part three brings up the nerves of some other FOX show members, and ends with the cast of House in a tizzy.
  • Part four has mischievous Hugh Laurie stealing the list.

and visit CliqueClack on Christmas Day for the poem published in its entirety. Let the epic tale unfold …

“But Hugh has another idea in his head.
“He’ll charge us too,” Eliza Dushku uttered with dread.
“He’s more savvy than that,” said Dollhouse‘s Joss
Then, just as they feared, Hugh sought out their boss.

Down to Reilly’s cushy office he charged
and into said room Hugh so rudely barged
Behind him followed Whedon, who was onto Hugh’s plan
“You lunatic,” Joss screamed. “You can’t confront the man!”

Ryan Seacrest

Someone seized Laurie’s arm. It was Dominic Purcell.
“Save your talking for Reilly when you see him in hell!”
Just then the desk’s chair began to squeak and to swivel
And there sat Ryan Seacrest with a grin like the devil.

Until tomorrow….
