Thanks. Happy (belated) Hanukkah, and a Merry Christmas to everyone!

You should say XMas, it’s from Futurama and it pisses people off. :)

Shouldn’t there be a XMas give away of booze and such? :-p

Not as much as “Happy Holidays” does! LOL. I love those people who are so insecure about their religion that they think everyone who doesn’t explicitly wish them a “Merry Christmas” is out to destroy their religion. Thanks, CliqueClack people, for realizing that there are people who aren’t Christian reading your blog.

No XMas really pisses them off, it’s the new thing to do. You are taking the Christ out of Christmas.

I’m thinking, this coming from the people that took the pigment out Jesus, Jesus isn’t white! If there god created man in his image than why is god white when we know the first people were black as night? Also Jesus was born in the spring, all they did was steal the pagan holiday, so really the Christians took the pagan out of Christmas. lol

Who took the Christ of of Christmas? Those losers. It’s not a religious holiday anymore, it’s a social one. I dated a Jewish guy briefly and he celebrates it. I’m not at all Christian and I celebrate it. Maybe if Christians worried more about themselves instead of everyone else we would live in a better world.

So Happy XMas Holidays everyone! :)

“Jesus isn’t white! If there god created man in his image than why is god white when we know the first people were black as night?”

True, he wasn’t white, certainly not an Aryan-like northern European as he’s usually portrayed, but I don’t think he was black either. The people who lived in that part of the world at the time were Semitic. They were Arabs basically. He looked like Yasser Arafat.

How wonderfully judgmental and condescending of you.

I’m sure you’re feeling very smugly superior.

Actually, “Xmas” isn’t as offensive as people are making it out to be. Seriously, they need to chill. From Wikipedia:

“Xmas” and “X-mas” are common abbreviations of the word “Christmas”. They are sometimes pronounced /ˈɛksməs/, but they, and variants such as “Xtemass”, originated as handwriting abbreviations for the correct pronunciation /ˈkrɪsməs/. The “-mas” part came from the Latin-derived Old English word for “mass”.[1] The “X” in Xmas is from the Greek letter Chi, which is the first letter of Χριστός, Christ in Greek
