Sometimes, the life of a television blogger can be a very hard one to lead. I’m not talking about how the real world can interrupt sitting on the couch with the laptop in your … well … lap (though, I think my dog has developed a Pavlovian need to go for a walk the minute he hears the sounds from our LiveClack interface, but I digress….). No, I’m talking about having to write about shows you love doing things you hate.
Julia was in this same predicament last week with Bones. She (very rightly so) is tired of Hannah and the actress playing her. But what sucks is when you’ve made your point already, as Julia had done previously, but you’ve got nothing left to say. This is just a long way of me getting to my problem with this week’s episode, which I’ve already made, but it is really the only thing I can walk away with from this episode.
Lux and Eric are wrong. I don’t care about how mature she is for her age, and I don’t care about how immature he is for his. Hiding in Tash’s apartment is wrong, sneaking to Astoria for a day together is wrong, and spending a night in a hotel talking about how wrong it is for them to be together is less (and more) wrong. Having your best friend take the fall for you is all kinds of wrong.
So in the spirit of not wanting to beat a dead horse anymore than I already I have, I’ll just shut up now (something, ironically, Julia’s been begging me to do since she met me).
