Brothers and sisters, I have seen the future … and it is good. You’ve probably seen the reviews of the season five premiere all over the interwebs over the past few days. I was also lucky enough get to see the first two episodes of the upcoming season. I don’t want to spoil anything, but I do want to let you know that they are totally worth the wait. Season five promises to move at lighting fast speeds. Well, lightning fast for Lost, anyway.
I was thinking that this season was going to focus on the Oceanic Six trying to get back to the island, with the finale finally seeing them return. Now, I’m not so sure. Rest assured, answers are given, and as always, more questions are posed. Would you have it any other way?
For more spoilery reviews, head on over to tvguide or entertainment weekly. I don’t want to want to tease you too much, but I will say the following: we do get visits from at least three folks from the great beyond. One poor actor spends most of the second episode completely unconscious. We see some old friends that we haven’t seen for a while. Ben continues to be creepy, Jack finally shaves, Sun is still pissed, and Frogurt gets more lines than all previous red shirts combined. For my money though, the most intriguing part comes at the end of the first two episodes. My lips are sealed.
In other Lost news, it looks like the Alternate Reality Game has been given a second life. Or a new one has started. Or something. I’m not quite sure. However, if you’re bored and feel like playing around, head on over to Ajira Airways and see what you can find. Or, if you’re lazy like me, head over to DarkUFO and have them do all the work for you.
One last teaser for you: someone gets a nosebleed … uh oh.
Also … Desmond is going to play a totally awesome role this season.
What are you looking forward to most about the new season of Lost?
Upload the episode Bob. You know you want to. Even shitty Youtube will do.

Oh believe me, I would, but I shudder to even think what the nice folks at ABC would do to me.
What am I looking forward to most? Funny you ask that. I would have to say the thing that I look forward to most is the show being on at all! Yes, the TV drought is finally starting to get to me. Thanks for the tease.
Come on Bob! Think of the rest of us! All these reviews are driving me crazy! If Aint it Cool can watch it, why not the rest of us! I’ve been compulsively checking Bittorrent for the past few days but nothing.
