TV on DVD – Downton Abbey, Geek Charming, and Hell’s Kitchen

The latest releases include 'Downton Abbey,' 'Geek Charming,' 'Hell's Kitchen,' 'Father Dowling,' 'Materpiece Classic,' 'Rocko's Modern Life,' 'Mickey Mouse,' 'Curious George,' 'New Tricks,' 'Six Feet Under,' 'CSI,' 'La Fuerza Del Destino,' 'Laramie,' 'Bizarre Foods,' 'Brontes Of Haworth,' 'Northern Lights,' and 'Lost Gold of the Dark Ages'.

There is a big pile of releases this week on February 7th, but the list is a bit lacking in high profile sets. Clearly, the leader is season two of Downton Abbey. If you haven’t been following along on PBS, that is the no-brainer pick of the week. It’s done amazingly well, and I’m already looking forward to the third round of the series. If you have been obsessively following along with the Crawley’s story, perhaps you would prefer to a little Masterpiece Classic? In that case, have a look at 1998’s Far From The Madding Crowd.
