Hell’s Kitchen spoiler: We know the winner of season 10

If you’re following Hell’s Kitchen, season 10 closely, you’ll know that there are 11 chefs left in the competition as of tonight. So how is it possible that we know the winner?

According to an inside source, it was announced today at Wheaton College that executive chef Patrick Cassata will be leaving because he has been “offered an incredible opportunity.” This announcement comes on the very day that he was one of the bottom two cheftestants on Hell’s Kitchen– what could it mean?

You can decide for yourself if you think this information is indicative of Patrick Cassata taking the title. I don’t watch Hell’s Kitchen, but I know on MasterChef, when the judges are impressed with contestants who don’t make it to the final two, they’ll often be invited to work at one of their restaurants. So if Cassata isn’t the big winner, do you think that an offer of working at, say, one of Joe Bastianich’s world renowned 18 restaurants would qualify as “an incredible opportunity”?

Is it even possible that the producers would allow Cassata to make an announcement like this if he was the winner, or if he was even a finalist? I can imagine there’s a ginormous clause in the contestants’ contracts that would make an announcement like this illegal to make until after the contestant was voted off, but stranger things have happened.

Believe me, I would love to be the first to have this scoop, but only time will tell us if Patrick Cassata is really the winner of Hell’s Kitchen, season 10.
