As the new fall season approaches, many returning shows are seeing the past season released this week to tie in with their new seasons including The Big Bang Theory (new season premieres September 27), The Vampire Diaries (October 11), Castle (September 24), Blue Bloods (September 28), Private Practice (September 25), 30 Rock (October 4), and Up All Night (September 20). There’s also the second season of Spartacus, and the return of the Absolutely Fabulous gang in a very funny series of specials that aired this year, culminating in a hilarious Olympics episode. The best news is that there will be another Christmas special and a full series in 2013! Halloween is also represented with some spooky kids’ fare, some Hammer horrors, and one of the most talked about TV movies of its time, Dark Night of the Scarecrow. It’s definitely worth a look!
