It’s time for me to admit it: I’m a fan of NBC’s ‘The Voice.’ It pains me to say it – as a writer of scripted television, reality TV is pretty much my sworn enemy – but trying to deny it is just getting ridiculous.

Two episodes in, things get shaken up. Now we see what the competitors are made of as they go up against each other.
Overall, the first full week of sweeps was a bit slow. The big surprise came as NBC’s ‘The Voice’ managed to improve on what was an outstanding debut the week before. Over on cable, can you imagine ‘L&O CI’ on USA beating new ‘L&O LA’ on NBC?
