Logan and Veronica were epic

He and Veronica started off as sworn enemies, and few people at home could stand him at first, but Logan Echolls grew on both her and us, and gave us a never-easy, yet epic romance.

I’m not sure who Veronica would have ended up with. As Carla said in her post about Veronica’s true love, it’s kind of hard to see Logan and Veronica married with kids. However, in the terms of the three seasons of the show that we got, Logan was far and away the one for Veronica.

Sure, he’s a psychotic jackass, but over the course of the time they knew each other, she hardened and he softened, so they were able to meet somewhere in the middle. The old Veronica wouldn’t have given Logan a second thought, but the new Veronica was drawn to the damaged, vulnerable parts of him. They’ve both been through horrible things, and those experiences are why they could never quite be rid of each other.

Bonding over abuse, rape, murder, and the other assorted sordid things in their lives don’t necessarily lead to stable, long-term relationships (just ask Dexter and Lumen), but they do lead to some amazing moments. Like this one in season 2:

This scene has one of the best moments of the entire series. From :20-:35, the awkwardness is so real, you can feel it on your skin. Plus, when Logan starts talking, you can feel him being as forced-casual as he can possibly  make himself. Jason Dohring was phenomenal on Veronica Mars, but this is a scene that just makes you lament the fact that shows like this aren’t the ones that win awards– because he should have won a million of them.

Oh first thank you for this article.

Veronica and Logan is the tv couple i have the most been interested in..before them i just loved/liked some series, some tv couples, characters like that as a time of entertainment, i did not mind not watching tv for months..lol (i was so much more a movie addict, tv was not really my thing) well with LoVe ok i admit i became literally obsessed..can’t help it..because of them i discovered the internet tv sphere with tv shows boards, blogs, tv press ect..these two actors had the best romantic chemistry i have ever seen on a tv show, it was like watching a real couple (it is amazing to know that they never dated in real life, and actually they were not really close..so it is certainly a testament that they are really really good actors lol).
And Jason Dohring i don’t understand why the guy is not a successful movie star right now, the guy has “it” he should be in Nolan, Scorcese, Coppola, Boyle movies..i mean the guy is in the same league as the Ryan Gosling, Christian Bale, James Franco..you know The “league”, the talented actors at Hollyweird who have the acting skills, the charisma to carry a smart and fun movie.
