America’s Got Talent – Susan Boyle performs during the last semi-finals episode

This week was time to select the final five acts to move on to the Top 10. Did the male pole dancer make it? Susan Boyle and David Guetta performed.

- Season 6, Episode 26 - "Semi-Finals Week 2 Results"

America's Got Talent

First up were Gymkana, Steven Rechless, and Silhouettes. These three acts were less impressive last night than in their previous performances. Silhouettes are moving through to the Top 10. Good thing that Nick didn’t ask Piers to comment on this result as he would have probably made it all about America listening to him and not voting the male pole dancer through instead on focusing on America making the right choice of giving Silhouettes a spot in the next round.

David Guetta performed his hit “Where Them Gilrs At” with Nicki Minaj and Flo Rida. If Nicki Minaj had been a contestant on AGT with the singing she did tonight — quite off key near the middle until the end — she would have been sent packing.

Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. and Anna Graceman were asked to the stage. Nick announced that Anna got the votes. He then started the “you’re going home” interview with Landau and then announced that Landau was going through as well. Sneaky Nick!

Professor Splash, Fatally Unique, Summerwind Skippers, and Landon Swank were next. YES!!! Landon Swank made it! It was time for a magician to get some love on AGT.

Susan Boyle performed “You Have To Be There.”

The Kinetic King, Smage Bros. Riding Shows, and Snap Boogie were the final ones. The Kinetic King was sent packing, meaning that the judges had to choose between the Smage Bros. and Snap Boogie. Sharon voted for Snap Boogie. Piers voted for the Smage Bros. Howie had to split the votes. He did so by voting for Smage Bros. Riding Shows.

The five acts moving through are: Silhouettes, Anna Graceman, Landau Eugene Murphy Jr, Landon Swank, and Smage Bros. Riding Shows.

This means that the Top 10 is composed of 1 band, 3 singers, 4 dance groups (this includes Team iLuminate and Silhouettes), 1 magician, and 1 daring act. That’s the most dance acts in the Top 10 we’ve ever seen since the series began. Luckily, they are quite different from one another, so it’ll be interesting nonetheless. These acts will perform next week for a spot in the Top 5.
