This is what I would consider a very good week for DVD releases. There are a bunch of older sets that are interesting (Looney Tunes, Aspen, Crime Story, Neverwhere), and a nice new release in the form of the US Being Human. What really makes the week though, is the appearance of my favorite new show, Awkward, and what might be my favorite show of all time, Farscape.
I haven’t actually done the math to figure out what exactly is my favorite show ever, but I can tell you that Farscape is most certainly in the running. If, somehow, you have managed to make it this far without seeing it, I would encourage you to give it a try. Great characters, on an epic space adventure, and the story just keeps building and building. Yes, there were some shenanigans as it all came to a close, but it’s all worth it in the end. And it does still hold up very well. The new release is all of the seasons on Blu-ray, but the complete series is also available on DVD. And at $53 for 88 episodes and 15 hours of bonus features, it’s a bargain.

does the farscape release include the paeackeeper wars?

These box sets don’t include Peacekeeper Wars. There was an earlier complete series set that did, but for now, you’ll have to settle for adding the Peacekeeper Wars set for an extra $10.
Of course, I was all excited to get a great deal on the complete DVD set. Never expected to see this on Blu-ray.
Still mad mine never came in the mail! Did not get to finish the series!
