Hell’s Kitchen – Why the blue team is in trouble and Patrick won’t win

The (mostly) men's blue team continued to have problems on the second installment of 'Hell's Kitchen' for this week. They're dropping faster than the stock market over there. Okay the stock market may be doing worse. But my Gordon Ramsay is going to have to shake things up soon, to get the teams even again. Oh! And I'll tell you what I think of today's spoiler about the supposed winner!

- Season 10, Episode 8 - "12 Chefs Compete"

My poor sweet foul-mouthed Gordon Ramsay. He’s passing through Frustration Town and into Intense Aggravationville with his chosen contestants on Hell’s Kitchen. The blue team just can’t seem to complete a dinner service. This is a problem seven weeks into this whole thing. By now? The team should have some sort of rhythm and communication skills. If not either of the above, at least be able to get food to the pass while it’s still hot and preferably not mooing.

Christina’s lobster dish was the only new item added to tonight’s menu. A lot of these dishes should be automatic by now. (See the red team and how they were able to not only complete their service but the blue team’s as well.) Entire teams should not be getting the “fuck off get outs” by Gordon at this juncture.

Yet that is exactly what we see happening. Sigh.

As far as Roshni losing her jacket and taking the walk of shame? I’m not the least surprised. I called it awhile back. This marks the fourth time she’s been called in front of Le Chef Hawt to defend herself. He’d even taken pity on her and moved her to the men’s team for another chance. Her time had just run out.

Patrick being up for elimination isn’t necessarily coming out of left field either. These guys want him out, as my Gordon has obviously and openly singled him out as a leader and the one the men need to strive to imitate. As you saw on our front page earlier? There is a rumor that Patrick wins the entire enchilada for season ten. I’m not sure I’d listen to it.

If you are familiar with Hell’s Kitchen, you know that the finale is often shown live. So even though Patrick announced that he is leaving his job for an amazing opportunity? It doesn’t mean he won the show at all. In fact, it could very well mean that he left early and got a position as a result of the exposure. Because he was eliminated and did not make the final two.

I also find it hard to believe that Fox wouldn’t have many rules for these contestants concerning spoilers in their contracts. I agree with fellow writer Debbie there.

So, I’m saying no. Patrick doesn’t win. I think Christina will.

In Other News:

Let’s just hurry up and get Royce out of there. Seriously? A hair in his dish for the challenge? Ew. No excuse.

The editing of Robyn telling her life story to boxing legend Sugar Ray Leonard was priceless.

And finally … it’s almost too easy to call at least the next six that My Gordon will flambee. In no particular order? Tiffany, Kimmie, Brian, Clemenza, Royce and Robyn.

S’like shooting fish in a barrel.

Don’t you agree?
