TV on DVD – Doctor Who, Californication, Sherlock

A short list this week is highlighted by new sets from Doctor Who, Californication, and Sherlock. There are also new releases for current shows including The Boondocks, Lie To Me, Men Of A Certain Age, and Whale Wars. Turning back the clock a bit, you’ll find complete series sets for The Golden Girls, Hi-5, and Scooby-Doo. There’s also another volume from the folks down at Mystery Science Theater. Pick of the week is a toss-up. That Scooby-Doo set has great packaging, but the new Sherlock is very well done. While I still consider myself a Rathbone-Sherlock fan first, the new one is well worth a look.
